Ready to begin the Hospitality Management program? The first step is to visit the University of Missouri Office of Admissions. Here you'll find everything you need to know about applying to the University, fees and financial aid and more.
The following policy will be in place for all students transferring to the HM program starting with the summer 2006 semester.
Students transferring to the HRM program must successfully complete HM 1043, Introduction to the Hotel and Restaurant Management Industry, during their first semester in the program. If a transfer student has already successfully completed HM 1043, they may select from HM 1133, Hospitality Law; HM 1995, Basic Food Production or HM 3143, Front Office Procedures and Management. In addition, transfer students must successfully complete 12 hours of HRM courses progressing toward their HM degree during their first academic year in the program.
For the purpose of this policy, HM courses are defined as those with an HM prefix and do not include Business or Food Science courses. Successfully completing a course is defined as earning a grade of C- or better.
